A small yet neighbourly community just north of Cardiff City Centre, Heath is the home of many families and medical students who study at the University Hospital of Wales. It's a predominantly residential area with a lot of detached and semi-detached houses lining the street. Heath is a quaint area with the population being just over 12,000. The majority of the population are families, couples and students, so the area is very safe to live. The area is fairly residential but boasts a variety of great amenities if you're not wanting to venture into the city.
The area has 4 train stations, all in walking distance from the main residential area, so if you're commuting into university or work, this will be easy enough! If catching the bus is your preferred mode of transport, then Heath is great for that too. The area is filled with bus stops with services running all day.
Heath is blessed to be the best of both worlds. It's a quiet residential area but within distance of great restaurants, cafes, nightlife spots and supermarkets too. There are also, a few parks within the area, which is great if you want to relax and take a walk in nature.
